Caner Imam conveys the problems of Yassıköy municipality to Staikuras
On Wednesday 29 May, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Staikuras, who held a series of meetings in the province of Rhodope, held a meeting in Komotini with the Regional President of Eastern Macedonian Thrace (EMT), Christos Topsidis and other officials of the Regional Presidency.
During the meeting, Yassıköy Mayor Caner Imam informed Mr Staikuras about the works of the Narlikoy stream dam located within the municipality.
During the meeting, Mayor Imam also provided information on the road network of Yassıköy Municipality, the Indoor Sports Hall and other needs of the municipality and asked for support in this regard.
Finally, Caner Imam invited Minister Staikuras to the opening of the Narlikoy Stream bridge and expressed the satisfaction they would feel if he attended. Upon this, Staikuras promised that he would attend the opening if the programme was suitable.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Hristos Staikuras and his entourage went to the point where Narlıköy stream is located and made investigations in the region.
