Call for the reorganisation of SYRIZA in the province of Rodopi
The statement was made after nine MPs, including Rodopi MP Özgür Ferhat, resigned from SYRIZA.
The statement reminded that the party elected a new president after the defeat in the general elections held in May and June. It was claimed that a large number of people voted in the presidential election and that this participation is an important hope for the rise of SYRIZA again.
The statement criticised that some people in the party questioned the democratic result of the presidential elections and called for the unity and solidarity given after the general assembly and the decision to deal with the problems and needs of the people against the Mitsotakis government.
It was stated that the group that signed the statement will hold its first meeting on Monday 27 November at 18.00 and anyone interested can attend the meeting.
