BTTDD İzmit Branch visits TİKA President Abdullah Eren
Yüksel Öztürk, President of the İzmit Branch of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association (BTTDD), along with other officials, visited Abdullah Eren, President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), at his office.
According to a statement from the BTTDD İzmit Branch, the visit was part of their Ankara engagements. During the meeting, President Eren briefed the delegation on TİKA’s ongoing activities. The officials presented a report outlining the challenges faced by the Western Thrace Turkish community along with proposed solutions, and discussions and consultations were held on the matter.
The statement added: “We sincerely thank our fellow countryman and TİKA President Mr. Abdullah Eren for his interest, attention, and hospitality during our visit, and we wish him continued success in his work.”
