Blood donation campaign by Turkish students in Komotini

Students of the Celal Bayar Minority Secondary and High School in Komotini are organizing a blood donation campaign on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 (today).

Celal Bayar Minority Secondary and High School students have carried out many activities that will set an example to the society, such as blood donation, and have made it a tradition.

One of the activities that has been held for years is the blood donation campaign, led by the school students, supported by the school administration, the council committee and the teachers.

Due to the coronavirus the blood donation campaign could not be held for two years.

After two years, students today are organizing the blood donation campaign in the garden of the school. Students and teachers will donate blood in the campaign, which will be held for the tenth time this year.

Apart from students and teachers, parents as well as citizens from outside will also be able to donate blood by supporting the campaign.

In the blood donation campaign, students and volunteer citizens will be able to donate blood as of 09:00 in the morning. The campaign will continue until 14:00.

It was stated that the blood donation campaign was organized with the initiative of Physics teacher Murat Karahüseyin and the school's senior high school students.
