BİHLİMDER: 'We condemn this decision that adds another closure to its history'
The statement continued as follows: "When we look at the course of the series of decisions issued so far, what has changed in our favour or what kind of a step has been taken in our breathing so that we are surprised to this extent? Did we find a softened face despite the reactions of the minority? Have we witnessed a promise where common sense was pursued in the equation of being taken as an interlocutor? What had happened that had raised our hopes in favour of our minority?
And yet, what has the legal authority that has decided to close down an association that is devoted to a common football team actually achieved? We may wonder what it has gained by putting another tick in the history of democracy in this way, but to attribute extraordinary surprise to the incident would indicate that we still do not recognise the decision-making mechanism working against the minority. We condemn this decision that adds another closure to its history. As the old saying goes, it is up to us to be vigilant, most of all at a time like this."
