'Being a Woman in the Balkan Arm' project completed
The project "Being a Woman in the Balkan Arms", carried out jointly by the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association and the Xanthi Mufti, completed its work with cultural trip to Bursa between 25 - 27 June.
Organisers and participants of the program, who went to Bursa as guests of Bursa Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar, met with expert family counselor Hatice Kübra Tongar and pedagogue, family therapist as well as writer Yaşar Kuru at the conference hall of Bursa 1326 Conquest Museum on Saturday, June 25, at a training seminar.
On Monday, June 26, historical places, tombs, mosques and Cumalıkızık village in Bursa were visited with a guide.
Visiting Bursa Provincial Mufti Yavuz Selim Karabayır on Monday, June 27, the delegation gave information about the "Being a Woman in the Balkan Arm" project carried out in Xanthi region. Books were presented to the participants by the mufti.
The delegation consisting of 58 women, who also visited the famous bazaar of Bursa, returned to Greece in the evening of the same day.
