BATÖB Istanbul meeting starts on 30 November
BATÖB-Batı Trakya Öğrenci Birlikleri (Western Thrace Student Unions) which was established last year by students who study in Turkey continue their activities.
The theme of the BATÖB-İstanbul Meeting programme which will be held in Istanbul is “The Future Vision of the Youth”.
In the programme of BATÖB, which was established in 7 different provinces in Turkey last year, future purposes of BATÖB will be taken into account with the participation of the representatives. Besides the targets of being a more active NGO, getting institutionalized, reaching more Western Thracian students, there will be also talking about the problems of the students who study in Turkey.
The meeting which will gather BATÖB managers who study in various cities will be held on 30 November-2 December in İstanbul, İkitelli. The programme which will be close to the public will last 3 days. In the framework of the programme, there will be arranged workshops, panels, seminars, interactive conferences and sports activities.
The organization committee president of the Project, Harun Onbaşı stated that coming together in the event as the Western Thracian students which were arranged with the contribution of Bab-ı Alem International Student Association, will be an important step for getting united and find solutions to the problems.
