BAKEŞ continues with Hüseyin Bostancı

Western Thrace Minority Culture and Education Company (BAKEŞ) elected its executive and supervisory board at the general assembly held on Wednesday, 27 September. Hüseyin Bostancı became the president again.

The statement made by BAKEŞ is as follows:

"BAKEŞ General Assembly was held on 27 September 2023, Wednesday, 27 September 2023 at the BTAYTD Headquarters. The General Assembly started with the election of the Chairman of the Council and the clerks. While İsmet Kadı was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Council, Kerem Abdurahimoğlu and Gülay Mehmet were elected as the clerks.

The General Assembly continued with the reading of the activity report of the Board of Directors. After the reading of the Audit Board report, the 2021-2023 Board of Directors was unanimously acquitted. Before the election, a plaque of appreciation and flowers were presented to Pharmacist Cahit Çingur, former cashier of BAKEŞ, for his 16 years of uninterrupted outstanding service in the board of directors. Afterwards, the criticism and suggestions section was started and the criticisms and suggestions of the members were noted.

Subsequently, candidates were determined and the election process started. 9 members were nominated for the Board of Directors and 3 members were nominated for the Supervisory Board.

With the distribution of duties after the election, the new Board of Directors and Supervisory Boards of BAKEŞ were formed as follows
