According to the Fire Risk Estimation Map, Rhodope province today, Tuesday, 19 July, is in the 3rd category in terms of fire hazard. Rhodope is among the provinces with high fire risk.

In other words, there are many fire risks in the Rhodope region today. Many possible fires will be very difficult to deal with due to favorable conditions such as topography and local winds.

According to the forecasts of the General Directorate of Meteorology of Greece, the current conditions (Local Winds, Increasing Temperature) are expected to continue until Wednesday, July 20.

Citizens are asked to stay away from the elements, moves and works that may cause fire or to be very careful in their work.

In addition, if a fire is noticed anywhere in the area, citizens are asked to immediately call 199 or 112, give clear information about their location and where exactly they are, as well as the specific location where they saw the fire.
