Asphalting works continue on main roads in the Rhodope region

The administration of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (EMT), while continuing to work in many areas, started new asphalting works in some of the main years. One of the projects prepared for the main roads for which the state administration is responsible was the section from the four road points leading to the Nimfe forest, that is, from the military zone to the Kalkanca junction. As a result of the work carried out on this road, the asphalting project was completed.

Now the asphalting project concerning the route Küçükköy - Kuşlanlı - İmaret has started. The next project of the administration is to carry out asphalting works at four different points on the main road from Komotini to Arabacikoy on the section up to Narlokoy. (The entrance and exit of the village of Çepelli, the intersection of the village of Büyük Müsellim and the inside of Narlıköy)

Architect-Engineer Rıdvan Molla İsa, Advisor to the President of the Region, who closely follows the works carried out, made a statement about the ongoing and upcoming works in the Rhodope region; "We, as the elected state administration, have visited and continue to visit the entire Rhodope province since 2 January 2024, when we took office. Our people are very pleased with these visits, they welcome us very well, offer us treats and tell us about their problems that have accumulated for years. For this reason, as a result of the work done in a very short time, we have started asphalting works."
