Artworks from ITB painting course students exhibited in Xanthi

The year-end exhibition of students from the Turkish Union of Xanthi Painting Course was held on Friday, June 13, 2025, in a joyful and well-attended event at the ITB’s headquarters.
The exhibition featured artworks created by the students throughout the year.
The event began with a speech by course instructor Zeynur Bargan, who described the past year as “a very dynamic period of work” and congratulated her students for their achievements. She also thanked all guests for attending the exhibition and supporting the young artists.
Kerem Abdurahimoğlu, President of the Turkish Union of Xanthi, also delivered remarks, congratulating the course teacher, students, and their families, and expressing pride in the students' accomplishments across all fields.
Following that, greetings were offered by Mustafa Trampa, President of the Consultative Committee of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and Mufti of Xanthi, and Adnan Öztürk, Deputy Consul of the Republic of Türkiye in Komotini.
Among the guests were FEP Party President Çiğdem Asafoğlu, Mayor of Mustafçova Ahmet Kurt, Principal of the Xanthi Minority Middle and High School Sedat Hacı Arif, School Board President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Aysel Sağır, President of the Turkish Women’s Cultural Association of Xanthi, as well as ITB sewing and embroidery instructors and many local community members.
Certificates of achievement were presented by Turkish Minority representatives to students who completed three years in the course. In addition, all students who participated in the exhibition received special gifts in recognition of their work.
