Ahmet Kurt the leader of the first round in Mustafçova issues a statement
On Sunday 8 October, Ahmet Kurt, the leader of the Great Unity Brotherhood Movement, one of the presidential candidates who competed for Mustafçova Municipality in the elections held on Sunday and completed the first week first, made a statement about the results of the first round of the elections.
Ahmet Kurt, who won the first round of the elections with the list he headed with 4,232 votes in the first week of the elections with a rate of 34.20 per cent, leaving his three competitors behind, gave his message to the residents of Mustafçova Municipality with a written statement. Kurt stated the following about the results of the first week and the second round elections:
"Dear people, dear residents of Mustafçova Municipality,
On 8 October Sunday, I would like to thank you on behalf of my staff and friends, and on behalf of all the residents of the municipality who carry the hope for change in their hearts. *This was the message that you wanted a change. We took this message to heart and we continue to work more determinedly, more resolutely and more fraternally for everyone to win. In the 2nd Round Elections that will take place, we demand regardless of where you voted before. On 8 October 2023, no matter which presidential candidate, which movement you supported, we demand your vote, we demand to serve each and every municipality resident with your support.
Our aim and purpose is not to win an election and provoke the losing side. Nor is it to politicise our nation. We believe that we have a staff and team that will provide the best service with our working principles. There is nothing beyond this. Until 8 October, our campaign was in a fraternal and festive atmosphere, it will be the same for the next 6 days, and it will continue to be so after the evening of 15 October, regardless of the result.
In this process, we will visit village by village, neighbourhood by neighbourhood, street by street and ask for your support by introducing ourselves better. We will do what befits the Great Unity Brotherhood Movement, and after 15 October, we will wear the badge of our nation.
Dear municipality resident,
*"You will win, our nation will win.
*There will be no losers."
