ABTTF Presidium holds its last meeting in 2023
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Lausanne Peace Treaty which determined the fate of the Turkish community in Western Thrace, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Essen Taylan Özgür Aydın and Vice Consul Emre Öngel visited ABTTF on the same day and met with the members of the ABTTF Presidency, Audit and Disciplinary Boards before the meeting. Consul General Aydın stated that motherland Turkey is always on the side of Western Thrace Turks.
ABTTF's activity plan for 2024 was discussed
At the meeting where ABTTF's work and activities in 2023 were evaluated, the initiatives and roadmap envisaged to be realised at international level in 2024 in order to help resolve the problems of the Turkish community in Western Thrace were discussed.
At the meeting where current developments and events related to the Turkish community in Western Thrace were also discussed, the results of the recent local and regional elections held in Greece and the reflections of the recent rapprochement in bilateral relations between our motherland and our country on the solution of the problems of the Turkish community in Western Thrace were evaluated.
