ABTTF issues condolences message for Faikoğlu
Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF) issued a condolence message for former independent MP Ahmet Faikoğlu who passed away today.
In the condolence message, it was stated that "We are experiencing the pain of losing Ahmet Faikoğlu, the former independent MP for Xanthi, who devoted himself to the struggle for the rights and freedoms of the Turkish community in Western Thrace and fought together with the leader of our community Dr. Sadık Ahmet during the period when the oppression against our community was the most intense, on 28 December 2023, today."
The condolence message reads as follows: "On behalf of all Western Thrace Turks living in Europe, as ABTTF Presidium and family, we wish God's mercy to our deceased MP, condolences and patience to his grieving family, relatives and the entire Turkish community in Western Thrace. May he rest in peace and may his place be in heaven."
