858 million euros for 271 investment projects

All the investment projects of Evros Prefecture were approved - Support in the region of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace.

271 investment projects were approved throughout Greece with a budget of 858 million euros, through which 4,420 new jobs will be created, as the Ministry of Development informs. The approvals concern two cycles of tourism (162 investments) and one of manufacturing (109 investments) of the Development Law of 2022. Businesses will receive 224 million euros as a grant and another almost 178 million euros will be tax exemptions.

Among the regions that receive special support, is Eastern Macedonia - Thrace, while all the investment plans of Evros Prefecture were approved. It is pointed out that for all the approved investment plans there is guaranteed access to loan financing with the guarantee of the Greek State from the DELFI fund of the Hellenic Development Bank.

The goal is sustainable and balanced development throughout Greece, with particular emphasis on the border areas.
