14-year-old Ege's death grieves Xanthi

The day before yesterday, Aegean went into the sea at Erasmio beach and was pulled out of the sea unconscious. After a doctor on the beach made the first intervention, Aegean was immediately taken to Xanthi Hospital and then to Thessaloniki, where he died yesterday, 24 July, despite being intubated.

The death of 14-year-old Aegean who drowned in the sea has grieved all the people of Xanthi, especially the people of the plain. While the lack of lifeguards at Erasmio beach caused criticism in the public opinion, it was expressed that the prosecutor's office should initiate an investigation due to the lack of a lifeguard unit at the beach in question.

We wish our son Ege mercy from the Almighty Lord and our condolences to his family, the people of Inhanli and ova and all his loved ones.
