In his speech at the "State Theatres, 2024 Theatre Everywhere" programme held at the Turkish Quarry Stage, Karadağlı stated that Türkiye will sign a very valuable artistic collaboration with Greece this year.

Karadağlı said, "Undoubtedly, the most well-known among Shakespeare plays is Romeo and Juliet. The story of two young lovers whose destiny is separation has spread from language to language for centuries, and even the thought of such pure love in our cruel world is still enough to enchant us today. The play, which is a co-production of the State Theatres and the Piraeus City Theatre of Greece, will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries, and the value of love will be emphasised once again through the love tale. The play, which will be rehearsed in Greece, will meet the audience at AKM in Istanbul for the first time. After Ankara and Izmir, it will be staged in Athens. Thus, once again, unconditional love will be a balm for us."
