Six irregular migrants caught on a tour bus from Greece to Türkiye
Six Moroccan irregular migrants hiding in the lower compartment of a tour bus traveling from Greece to Türkiye were apprehended.
Teams from the Istanbul Beyoğlu District Police Department launched an investigation after receiving a tip-off about foreign nationals concealed in the lower section of a tour bus arriving from Greece.
Upon stopping the Greece-registered bus, officers discovered six Moroccan nationals hiding in the lower compartment.
The bus driver, identified as Greek citizen K.S., was taken to the police station for questioning.
As the investigation progressed, authorities detained a Moroccan suspect, R.S., who was found to have organized the migrants' illegal passage.
Following legal procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to court, where a judge ordered their arrest.
