Greek newspaper Pentapostagma reported that Turkey's first astronaut Alper Gezeravcı successfully completed his mission and returned to earth.

The Pentapostagma newspaper headlined the news as "While Greece watched the stars, the first Turkish astronaut returned to Earth".

On 19 January, Türkiye's first astronaut Alper Gezeravcı, who successfully completed his space mission and returned home, was also reported in Greek newspapers.

The Dragon capsule carrying Gezeravci and other astronauts, who carried out 13 scientific experiments during their time on the International Space Station (ISS), landed in the ocean in Daytona Beach, Florida yesterday.

The space journey, which was closely followed by the world media, was also closely followed by the Greek media.

The Greek newspaper Pentapostagma, which carried Türkiye's and Gezeravcı's success on its pages, gave the title of the news as "While Greece watched the stars, the first Turkish astronaut returned to Earth".
