Modernization works at Pazarkule Border Gate soon to end

Türkiye's modernization efforts at the Pazarkule Border Gate, which opens from Edirne to Greece, have come to an end. The number of single platforms at the border gate, whose construction works have been completed, has been increased to 6, including 3 entrances and 3 exits.
The 4 thousand square meter usage area of the customs area was expanded to 22 thousand square meters.
Having gained a modern appearance after the renovation works, Pazarkule also includes a search hangar, social facilities, and personnel buildings.
There are administrative units in the passenger building and shopping malls on the ground floor. At the border gate, there is also an x-ray office, mobile x-ray and dog training center, and the building where the Smuggling and Intelligence Directorate is located.
A system trial was carried out at the border gate, where most of the work was completed. After the landscaping works and system works are completed, the official opening is expected to be held in the coming days.
