International students of Turkiye met in YTB’s iftar dinner
Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) organized the "Balkans Iftar Program" for international students in Ankara.
More than 400 foreign students studying in Turkey participated in the "Balkans Iftar Program" organized for international students with Turkish Scholarship at YTB's building in Ankara.
The Iftar program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Speaking after the fast-breaking meal, YTB President Abdullah Eren addressed the students, "You came here from different countries.
You are taking your university education in Ankara and today you are here during the beautiful Holy Mont of Ramadan. I hope you are having a good time this month. Hopefully, we will celebrate the holiday together like this with great enthusiasm".
Eren noted that during Ramadan, iftar programs will be held, including the promotion of the Turkic world, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, apart from the Balkans.
Pointing out that the students will believe that a better world is possible as they get to know each other during their stay in Turkey, "As we believe that such a world is possible, we carry out the Türkiye Scholarships program in Turkiye with great love and enthusiasm." he said.
Eren advised students to be successful in their studies. The iftar program ended with a hymn concert.
