The sector of tourism “has become the backbone of Greek-Turkish rapprochement and the vehicle that brought our two peoples closer,” Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni said last week, apropos of the Greece-Turkiye Joint Tourism Committee meeting in Athens.
