Smart meters will reduce natural gas losses and theft, lead to 3.9% energy savings

The installation of smart meters is expected to lead to energy savings of 3.9% and minimise losses and theft of natural gas, sources within the natural gas distribution network manager Enaon EDA said on Sunday.
