Tsitsipas gets shocking 1st round elimination in 2021 Wimbledon through 3-0 loss to US' Frances Tiafoe

Number three seed Stefanos Tsitsipas was stunned in the 2021 Wimbledon on Monday by his first-round elimination through a 3-0 loss to Frances Tiafoe.

Considered the favorite of the match in London, Tsitsipas of Greece, 22, lost the match with 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 sets against his US opponent.

Tsitsipas was the 2021 French Open (Roland Garros) runner-up in men's singles.

Tiafoe, 23, ranked 57th in the globe.
