Wizz Air adds two direct routes from Athens to Warsaw
Wizz Air has announced the launch of two new direct routes from Athens to Warsaw Modlin Airport, with flights set to begin on December 1, 2025.
The new connection will link Athens with the greater Warsaw metropolitan area, coinciding with the inauguration of Wizz Air’s new base at Warsaw Modlin Airport this Friday. Tickets are now available via the airline’s website and the WIZZ mobile app.
This expansion strengthens Wizz Air’s growing presence in Greece and Cyprus. In addition to the Athens route, the airline will also launch flights from Warsaw Modlin to Paphos, offering travelers more affordable and convenient options across Europe.
“We are excited to announce yet another new route from Athens,” said Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Director at Wizz Air. “With this addition, we reaffirm our commitment to expanding travel opportunities from both Cyprus and Greece. Warsaw offers a unique blend of history and modern culture, and we look forward to welcoming travelers on board.”
