West Nile Virus continues to claim lives in Greece, with 5 deaths reported in the past week.
The Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced that in 2024, the virus has caused 6 deaths in various parts of the country, with 5 of these occurring in the past week.
Experts emphasize the importance of personal protection against mosquitoes, noting that the virus has been particularly prevalent in Larissa, Trikala, Imathia, Thessaloniki, and Pella.
