'We can't prevent anymore' admits Greek Foreign Minister on Türkiye

Abdulhamid Han, Turkey's fourth drilling ship, will begin duty on August 9. Greece, which showed great interest in Abdulhamid Han in the past weeks, brought Abdulhamid Han back to the agenda with the date of commissioning of the drilling ship.

According to the news of Sabah from the Turkish press, in addition to the news of Abdulhamid Han frequently appearing in the Greek press in recent days, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias brought the issue to his visit to Cyprus.

It was stated that Dendias, who went to Nicosia hastily, discussed his options and met with the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiadis.

The Greek press wrote that Dendias and his Cypriot counterpart, Giannis Kasoulidis, agreed that Abdulhamid Han would work in more than 6 locations.

Kasoulidis also said, "We are waiting for the Turkish drill ship. We cannot prevent this, but we will fight in the diplomatic field."

Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, had stated in his statement recently, "We will send the Abdulhamid Han drilling ship off from Mersin to its first mission on August 9".
