Ukrainian working for the Russian Federal Security Service arrested in Greece
A 58-year-old Ukrainian, allegedly working for the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), was reportedly arrested in Anavisos, Greece. The Ukrainian is alleged to have obtained Greek citizenship with false documents.
It was reported that a 58-year-old Ukrainian allegedly working for the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) was arrested in Anavisos, Greece.
According to Greek media reports, the intelligence agency of a Balkan country shared information about this person with the Greek Intelligence Organisation (EYP).
According to the news reports, the 58-year-old Ukrainian was arrested on 13 November at the entrance of his villa in Anavisos, 34 kilometres from Athens.
In the news reports, it was claimed that the person in question travelled to Russia once a month via Turkey or Belarus, and it was stated that the extradition request to Ukraine is expected to be examined.
The news reports claimed that this person obtained Greek citizenship with forged documents.
