Two young people lost their lives in a tragic traffic accident
The accident occurred when the motorbike on which two young people were riding hit a car travelling on the road.
The community was saddened by the road accident that took place on Friday morning on the Patra - Athens motorway, killing 19 and 20 year old youths.
According to police, the motorbike on which the two young people were riding collided with a car driven by a 30-year-old male driver for an unknown reason.
After the collision, 19- and 20-year-old young people were thrown on the road, and immediately afterwards ambulances, fire trucks and police cars arrived at the scene.
The young people hospitalised were pronounced dead. A preliminary investigation into the causes of the traffic accident is being conducted by the Patras Traffic Police Department.
