'Turks will come to our islands and slaughter us': Greek MP claims
PASOK - KINAL MP Panagiotis Paraskevaidis claimed that Türkiye is planning to invade the Greek islands overnight and said that the neighbouring country intends to come to the islands with a strong amphibious fleet like Hamas and massacre the population.
The PASOK-KINAL MP did not stop there; he urged the citizens to be careful and to make local defence arrangements. He stated that everyone knows which ditch to be in with their rifles so that they can defend themselves when the Turks arrive.
It is important to note that Panagiotis Paraskevaidis sits on the Parliamentary Defence Committee and it is in this platform that he has voiced his concerns about the Turks and his "Blue Homeland" statements.
Paraskevaidis, who himself has combat experience, having volunteered in Cyprus in 1974, emphasises the importance of addressing these issues in order to protect the Greek islands.
