Turkish Ambassador Erciyes pays visit to Greek Minister of Migration Keridis
Erciyes - According to the media reports on the Keridis meeting, Minister Keridis drew attention to the recent close relations between Türkiye and Greece and said: "There is a great opportunity now and we should take full advantage of it. The resumption of Türkiye's relations with the West in general and Greece in particular is positive."
"If I have to say something to our Turkish neighbours, this is a historic opportunity that should not be missed," Keridis added.
Noting that Türkiye has always been in favour of cooperation, especially on irregular migrants, Turkish Ambassador to Athens Çağatay Erciyes said, "There are many psychological barriers between the two peoples, but communication channels need to be reactivated. We are neighbours and we should create a culture of cooperation."
