SYRIZA: 35 MEP candidates from the preliminary elections

The vote counting of main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance members and supporters who participated in the selection of the 35 candidates to be included in the party's ballot paper for the upcoming European elections on June 9th was completed on Monday afternoon.

According to the party, "the process was deemed entirely successful, with over 63,000 party members and supporters participating, either through online or in-person voting." As a result of the process, 35 candidates were selected, including the current MEPs of SYRIZA Kostas Arvanitis and Elena Kountoura, while five candidates will be appointed by the party president's decision.
