‘Social tourism’ holiday support application deadline extended

The application deadline for this year’s state-subsidized “social tourism” holiday program, run by the Public Employment Service (DYPA), has been extended to May 18.
Kicking off on June 1, the 2025 program subsidizes accommodation costs at tourist facilities and also includes ferry ticket subsidies. Eligible participants will need to cover 25% of the cost. Also, people with disabilities will travel for free.
Beneficiaries are selected through DYPA’s Integrated Information System, based on scoring criteria such as income, number of children, disability status, single parenthood, and whether it is the applicant’s first time in the program.
Applicants already enrolled in a similar tourism program from another provider for the same period are not eligible.
Applications must be submitted online via gov.gr (https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/apozemioseis-kai-parokhes/koinonikos-tourismos) using Taxisnet credentials.
