Signatures were signed for the Kipi-İpsala border gate, which connects Greece and Turkey, and the new bridge to be built on the Evros river. The final projects of the suspension bridge, which will have a total length of 841 meters and called the "Bridge of Peace", have also been signed.

It was stated that the project design works continue with the coordinated work of the Ministries of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey and Greece. The start date for the construction of the bridge, which has been expected for years and expected to relieve customs traffic, has not been given.

Egnatia A.E, which undertook the design of the Greek side of the bridge, made a statement on the subject and signed a cooperation agreement with Egnatia company for the final project with Mavrakis and its Partners-Egis cooperative.

It has been noted that the construction of the three-span "extradose" cable-stayed bridge, which will have a total length of 841 meters, will begin with the completion of the final project.
