Sequence of Events:
Monday afternoon: A 73-year-old man was found unconscious at his home in a village within the Municipality of Minoa Pediada. Discovered by his relatives, he was later pronounced dead.
A few hours later: In the Apokoronas area (Chania), a 63-year-old man was found dead in his home by family members.
On the same day: In the Mylopotamos region, a 66-year-old man was discovered unconscious by his cousin. Despite efforts to revive him, he did not survive.
Early Monday morning: In the Anogia area, a woman found her 77-year-old husband dead at home.
In the center of Chania: A man was found lifeless in his home.
Later that day: In the Paleochora region, a 76-year-old woman lost consciousness and, despite medical interventions, could not be saved.

Authorities' Response:
Officials have launched a thorough investigation into the causes of these sudden deaths. The victims' medical histories and circumstances at the time of death are being closely examined. Meanwhile, the local community remains gripped by concern and fear following this series of tragic incidents.
