It was reported that the 24-hour strike that the workers started yesterday after a worker died and 2 people were injured in a work accident at a shipyard in Perama near Athens was extended.

It was announced in the local press that the workers extended the 24-hour strike they started yesterday against work intensity and security gaps, and that they will hold two actions in Piraeus within the scope of the strike.

Shipyard workers marched to the Greek Maritime Ministry in Piraeus within the scope of the strike they started yesterday due to the death of their 47-year-old friend in a work accident.

There was a brawl between a group of employees and the police who entered the courtyard of the Ministry.
