Off the coast of Dikili district of Izmir, 70 irregular migrants who were pushed back to Turkish territorial waters by Greek elements were brought ashore.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Coast Guard Command, upon the information that there was a group of irregular migrants on a rubber boat off the coast of Dikili, a Coast Guard ship and boat were deployed to the area.

The Greek elements rescued 50 irregular migrants in the rubber boat which was pushed back to Turkish territorial waters.

The teams also rescued 20 irregular migrants in the life raft that was pushed back off Dikili.

Irregular migrants were sent to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management after the procedures.
