Photograph exhibition "RODOP: Fifteen Photographers of a Mountain Range" to be organised in Edirne

Edirne Photography Association and Thrace Creative Photography Centre will organise a special group photography exhibition in Edirne.

The photo exhibition titled "RODOP: Fifteen Photographers of a Mountain Range" will be held on Friday, 10 May 2024 at 18:30 at the Foyer of Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A photo album with the same name will also be launched during the event.

The agenda of the photo project "RODOP: A Mountain Range of Fifteen Photographers" is broad and the only limitation is the geographical location of the photographs taken within the borders of the Rhodope Mountain Range.

A magical mountain range adorned with castles, churches, mosques, mansions, huts, corrals, dry stones and bridges. Landscapes of unique natural beauty with unexpected flora and fauna. But its most beautiful element is the people. The smiles, treats and hospitality of people with different cultures, traditions, religions and customs. A place where different population groups live together, where there is a harmonious human diversity that you rarely encounter.

Photographers, Nikos Andreadakis, Stratos Vlasakidis, Yannis Gogos, Georgia Dimitriou, Nikos Zoakis, Sotiris Zoakis, Yannis Kaltseras, Hristos Maltezos, Mihalis Boliakis, Yannis Boultadakis, Katerina Papapanagiotou, Anna Paraskevidou, Youla Patsi, The photographs taken by Aneza Spanopoulou, Simeon Hatzilides and edited by Panos Kokkinias express themselves artistically and capture the Rhodope mountain range with a modern eye.

The photo book "RODOP: The Mountain Ranges of Fifteen Photographers" is available in all bookshops and online shops in TOPOS publications.

Entrance to the photo exhibition to be held in the foyer of Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday, 10 May will be free of charge.
