In its Friday issue, the Greek daily Kathimerini used the headline "The goal is to preserve calm waters" in its front page analysis of Turkish-Greek relations.

Stating that Mitsotakis is travelling to Turkey tomorrow with the main purpose of ensuring the continuation of the calm atmosphere between Athens and Ankara, the newspaper noted that the positive agenda will also be emphasised during the meeting.

The newspaper emphasised the importance of the visit and commented that it would be a confirmation that the relations between the two countries could improve.

Ta Nea newspaper, on the other hand, carried the news about tomorrow's Erdoğan-Miçotakis meeting in its headline yesterday with the Turkish expression "Win-Win".

In the news, it was stated that the aim of the meeting was to spend a quiet summer in the Aegean once again.

Eleftheros Tipos newspaper interviewed Mitsotakis and included his evaluations on the agenda.

Pointing out that bilateral relations are progressing in many areas of co-operation, Mitsotakis stated that the purpose of his visit to Ankara tomorrow to meet with President Erdoğan is to ensure the continuation of this mutually beneficial rapprochement process.

Mitsotakis stated that there are goals such as doubling the trade volume between the two countries in the next 5 years and deepening cooperation in areas such as health and combating natural disasters.

Positive agenda
In an interview with the "in.gr" news portal, Kostas Frangoyannis, Greece's Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, emphasised that the positive agenda is an important tool for covering the distance between the two countries.

Frangoyannis, who will accompany Mitsotakis during his visit to Ankara tomorrow, stated that within the scope of the positive agenda, cooperation opportunities in different fields such as investments, customs, tourism, sports, education, technology and innovation will be evaluated.

Frangoyannis noted that this cooperation developed with a positive agenda will also be beneficial for economic development.
