According to the news of Mega TV broadcasting in Greece, a person swimming off the coast of Rhodes Island removed a mine from the sea.
The swimmer reported the situation to the Greek Coast Guard teams and handed over the mine to the authorities.
It is estimated that the mine, thought to have come from the Ukrainian coast, crossed the Aegean via the Black Sea and reached the Island of Rhodes.
