Large turnout for Berat Night in Selanik: Community members gather under association roof
A meaningful program was held in Selanik to mark Berat Night (Laylat al-Barat) at the Macedonia–Thrace Muslims Education and Culture Association, bringing together members of the local Turkish Muslim community.
The event attracted strong participation from community members living in Selanik, creating a spiritually rich and heartfelt atmosphere.
Spiritual Gathering with Strong Community Participation
During the program, which took place at the association’s premises, Mevlid al-Sharif was recited and prayers were offered. Men and women, young and old alike attended the gathering, highlighting a strong sense of unity and togetherness.
From children to elders, many members of the local community gathered under one roof to experience the spiritual blessings of Berat Night collectively.
Turkish Consul General Attends the Event
The Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Selanik, Serkan Gedik, also attended the program, showing his support and solidarity with the community. In the warm and sincere atmosphere of the evening, Consul General Gedik met with community members and shared in the spiritual significance of the night.
