Investment Grants of 23.2 Million Euros Awarded in Macedonia and Thrace

The Ministry of Interior’s Directorate of Private Investments for Macedonia and Thrace has allocated over €23.2 million in grants to support 24 investment projects in the region.
These grants, provided in the form of tax exemptions, financial leasing, and direct funding, were distributed between May 27, 2024, and August 9, 2024. These funds were granted under Development Laws N. 3908/2011 and N. 4399/2016, and aim to promote entrepreneurship in Northern Greece, creating new jobs and fostering economic growth.
Deputy Minister of Interior for Macedonia and Thrace, Konstantinos Gkioulekas, emphasized the importance of utilizing financial tools to accelerate investment without delays or bureaucratic obstacles. He noted that these grants will stimulate the local economy, attract investors, and enhance competitive sectors in the region.
