Greek mountaineer Antonis Sykaris dies on the Himalayas

One of the top Greek mountaineers, Antonis Sykaris, died on Tuesday while descending the Dhaulagiri mountain in the Himalayas.

Sykaris suddenly felt extreme distress at an altitude of 7,400 metres and died.

The greatly experienced Greek mountaineer arrived at the summit of the mountain at 8,167 metres on Monday and had announced his success on social media.
