Greek cycling couple impressed by Beyşehir, Konya

Alexandros Eleftheriou and Vasiliki Bletsaki, a Greek couple traveling by bicycle from Greece to Japan, took a break in Beyşehir, a district of Konya, during their long journey. The couple, who are avid cyclists, were welcomed at the Beyşehir Bicycle House, where they were provided accommodation and meals by local volunteers.

According to information shared by Anadolu Agency (AA), the couple expressed great appreciation for Beyşehir’s natural beauty and the hospitality they received during their stay. They were particularly impressed by the scenic views of the lake and the warm welcome they received from the locals.

"We were deeply impressed by Beyşehir," said Alexandros and Vasiliki, highlighting the picturesque lake view and the kindness of the people as some of the most memorable aspects of their stop.

Mustafa Büyükkafalı, the President of the Beyşehir Culture, Tourism, and Nature Association, also expressed his happiness about the couple's visit. He said, “It was an honor to host our foreign friends cycling from Greece to Japan at the Beyşehir Bicycle House. We always support such visits, which help introduce Beyşehir’s cultural and natural heritage on an international level.”

After their break in Beyşehir, Alexandros and Vasiliki resumed their journey, thanking Türkiye for the safe and friendly environment they encountered and left the district with fond memories.
