Fragogiannis to meet with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Önal in Athens

Deputy Foreign Minister Kostas Fragogiannis will meet with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sedat Önal in Athens on February 21.

In a written statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and Greece, it was stated that Deputy Minister Kostas Fragogiannis will meet with his Turkish counterpart Sedat Önal.

In the statement of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was noted that;

Within the scope of the Positive Agenda dialogue between Turkey and Greece in the fields of economy and trade, Deputy Minister Ambassador Sedat Önal will hold a working meeting with Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Kostas Fragkogiannis on February 21, 2022 in Athens.

The meeting in question will be the third meeting of the Positive Agenda initiative, agreed by Minister Çavuşoğlu and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias in their meeting in Ankara in April 2021. The previous two meetings were held in Kavala on 28-29 May 2021 and in Antalya on 16 June 2021.
