Ferries to and from Ionian Islands cancelled due to bad weather

Several ferry routes to and from the southern Ionian Islands were cancelled on Monday because of adverse weather conditions.

According to Levante Ferries, the 7:05 a.m. service from Sami to Ithaki, as well as the 7:40 a.m. route from Ithaki to Sami and Patras, were cancelled. The 1:00 p.m. ferry from Patras to Sami and Ithaki and the 5:15 p.m. service from Ithaki to Sami were also suspended.

In addition, the 9:45 a.m. ferry from Zakynthos to Kyllini and the 11:45 a.m. return service from Kyllini to Zakynthos were cancelled.

Passengers are advised to contact port authorities or ferry companies for the latest updates before traveling to the ports.
