Far-rightist MP admits the truth on Greece's buying Rafale jets

Kiryakos Velopoulos, the extreme right-wing deputy and leader of the 'Greek Solution' party, made striking statements in the program he attended on Alert TV.

The far-right Greek parliamentarian and leader of the 'Greek Solution' party, Kiryakos Velopoulos, made  very shocking statements in a television program he attended on Alert TV, based in Greece, on January 20.

Velopoulos stated that even if Greece has 200 Rafale, still cannot cope with the Bayraktars and EastMed's 'corpse has been lifted'.

The speech of the deputy Velopoulos, which is on the agenda of Greece, is as follows:

'In Glasgow, the EU's energy commissioner said that Europe should see natural gas and nuclear energy as an intermediate fuel. That's what I've been telling the prime minister all this time. Do not remove lignites. Take advantage of natural gas or look at nuclear energy.

WORSE THINGS ARE COMING FOR US

Events proved we were right, and East Med's funeral was held. Pay attention to what our Prime Minister is proposing in Glasgow. He said, instead of suggesting East Med, we want to make a cable to transfer electrical energy from Egypt. He said that we should build photovoltaic parks in the desert in Egypt.

I really wonder how some people can continue to support a man like him. He is totally out of place and out of time. Talking about the cable coming from Egypt at a time when everyone is talking about natural gas and nuclear power. What is happening now is unbelievable and what will happen next is frightening, because worse things are coming for us.

ERDOĞAN TAKES STEPS TO THE BALKANS

Turkish President Erdogan stepped into the Balkans again. He went to Albania and made 6 deals. Then he went to Serbia and made 4 more deals. Serbia, a country with the same religion as us and a strategic partner of Greece... Erdogan offered them a trade swap of 5 billion euros.

Incredible events are happening, Mr. Kapsabalis. I'm really starting to worry. Even if we get 200 Rafaels, I'm worried about the future. Let me give an example: Let's say Greece has 200 Raphaelites and Turkey has 400 Bayraktars. Then let's say they mobilized them to the Aegean. That's 400 signals on the radar of our warplanes.

Our jets will follow known drones, but there will be other warplanes coming from above. Am I clear? Do you understand what could happen, Mr. Kapsabalis? I can say even more about this.

'WE HAVE TO HIT THE TURKISH UAVs'

I would also like to say that we need to shoot down the Turkish UAVs over the Aegean at some point.

We cannot allow Turkish UAVs to fly over the Aegean. Shooting fighter planes is difficult because human life is involved, but what you call a UAV is just a machine.

That's why we have to hit their UAVs to end the provocations of the Turks in the Aegean.'
