Employees of the Ministry of Development in Greece hung a Palestinian flag on the Ministry building
In Greece, employees of the Ministry of Development hung a giant billboard with the Palestinian flag on it on the building belonging to the Ministry.
In a demonstration in support of Palestine organised by the Ministry employees' union, a giant billboard was hung on the façade of the Ministry building in Kaningos Square in Athens.
On the board, besides the Palestinian flag, the text "Stop the massacre. Freedom for Palestine".
"We hung this board in the building where we work to send a message condemning the genocide committed by the state of Israel," the union said in a written statement.
The statement demanded that the Greek government stop its support for Israel.
The employees of the Ministry of Development also demanded the withdrawal of the frigate "HYDRA" of the Hellenic Armed Forces participating in the European Union's (EU) "Aspides" mission in the Red Sea, noting that this frigate costs 500 thousand euros per day to operate in the region.
