Disastrous accident: woman from Komotini lost her life

Ceni Kasapyan, a member of the Armenian Community in Komotini, fell to the ground on Sunday, August 7, in the resort town of Sivota, in the province of Thesprotia, after the rope of the parachute attached to the speed boat broke.

It was reported that the unfortunate woman started to swing the parachute with the effect of the sudden strong wind in the region.

It was stated that while the people on the boat were trying to pull the woman, the rope of the parachute broke and as a result, the woman fell to the ground and died.
