Children's book author sued for videos containing child pornography

A prominent children's book author has been sued for possession of videos containing child pornography. It was noted that the person in question has been held in Tripoli prison since October 18.

It was stated that the author of the children's book was identified as a result of scanning the internet with a special software that detects child pornography files of cybercrime officers. Upon informing the competent judicial authorities, the house of the person in question was searched.

According to media reports, a search of the home found more than 90 videos of child pornography on a hard drive, some involving children under the age of 12. The person in question claimed to have researched and downloaded child pornography files to write a book on a related topic.

It was decided that the writer in question should be put on trial.
